Golf Renovations in Full Swing!
Exciting changes are on the horizon for golf at Saddlebrook Resort. In late spring 2025, we will begin the next phase of our extensive golf course renovations. These enhancements include a state-of-the-art irrigation system designed to optimize course conditions, a complete reconstruction of all greens using the USGA method to enhance playability and character, revitalized fairway bunkers with improved drainage and fresh sand, and rebuilt, laser-leveled tee surfaces for a pristine playing experience.
These renovations build upon our first milestone in the resort’s comprehensive revitalization plan—the unveiling of our brand-new 13-acre driving range, a state-of-the-art practice facility designed by renowned golf course architect Rees Jones in collaboration with associate Bryce Swanson. Featuring a double-sided range, two TifEagle™ bermudagrass putting greens, and three short game areas with greenside bunkers, this premier facility is designed to elevate the golf experience for players of all levels.
These renovations mark the beginning of Jones' transformative work at Saddlebrook, which will continue with the reconfiguration of the resort’s two existing 18-hole courses into three interchangeable nine-hole courses.
